From the Brisbane Times comes the announcement of an upcoming event in Queensland, the launch of New Beginnings: Classic Paintings:

Therese Rein will launch a book chronicling the master artists of the Western Desert, The Kimberley and Top End at the Gallery of Modern Art.

'New Beginnings: Classic Paintings' from the Corrigan collection of 21st century Aboriginal art documents the extraordinary collection of a leading art benefactor and patron.

Patrick Corrigan, a self-made businessman who divides his time between Sydney and the Gold Coast, is the man responsible for the remarkable collection of work explored in the book.
